The project Joustaposition was made possible with Wwise. By using many techniques and features provided through Wwise, the project wouldn’t sound the way it does now. By using it to help organize the many dialogue events which fire off, the fantastic bus systems, wwise’s advanced kill sound systems when certain audio plays along with utilizing the pitch randomization and random containers to make each play through truly different. Wwise allowed the sound team to take control of how the game sounded and allowed our coder to focus on other aspects of the game instead of having to focus on audio. Our project only needed 3 scripts in order for us to do everything we wanted to do with “Joustaposition”. The rest was done through Wwise with limited c# knowledge and an understanding of Unity.
